Designer Doggy is always willing to help solve any problems, issues or complaints you may have. Please contact us by email or telephone and we will respond as soon as possible.

Our customer service phone hours are from 9AM to 4PM Central Standard Time Monday through Friday.

We are closed on the weekends and holidays but do check our emails.

Sizing

Due to differences in manufacturer's sizing and product specifications, we recommend you measure your dog to ensure an accurate fit. At Designer Doggy we strive to provide accurate sizing information for all our products we carry. Please follow the sizing chart listed on every product page.

Product Availability

Our system should inform you if a product is not in stock. If we take your order and consequently discover that the item is not available for shipping (i.e., it is backordered, sold out, damaged or defective) we will notify you via email of the estimated fulfillment date.

You will have the option to cancel the order if the new shipping date does not work for you.

Product availability is subject to change quickly as styles and seasons change. We reserve the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions (including after an order has been submitted).

Cancelling an Order

Orders are quickly processed and it may not be possible to cancel once you have completed the checkout process. When the checkout process is completed we quickly notify our warehouse and manufacturers to prepare your order for shipment. If you immediately send us an email it may be possible to stop the order and reverse the credit charge.

Prices and Tax

All prices are subject to change without notice. Only Items purchased and shipped to addresses in the State of Illinois are subject to applicable sales tax.

Product Descriptions and Images

Designer Doggie cannot warrant that the product descriptions, photos or other content of this site is completely accurate, reliable, current, or error-free.

Color variations may occur between the product and pictures due to individual monitor settings.

If a product you selected from Designer Doggy is not as described you may return it in its original and unused condition. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Purchases and Methods of Payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We currently only sell and ship items to addresses in the continental United States.

Please note that your credit card will not be charged until the items in your order have been shipped. Backordered items are usually shipped within 1-3 weeks from the order date. We will contact you to make sure that you still want the item if the wait exceeds 3 weeks.

Exchange and Return Policy

To return or exchange an item, ship it back to us in its original and unused condition within 20 days of receiving it for an exchange, store credit or refund less a restocking fee of 10%.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Items that cannot be returned or exchanged are toys, perishable/food/treats, grooming items, engraved, customized, seasonal (Halloween, Christmas, etc.), beds and carriers.

Ship the original and unused item, along with a copy of your email receipt or packing slip to the address below. We are not responsible for items returned to any other address. Send us an email to info@designerdoggy,com with the reason for the return.

Please use FedEx, UPS, the US Postal Service or any other delivery service with delivery and tracking capabilities.

The customer is responsible for all shipping and packaging costs related to exchanging or returning an item. Items received after 20 days will not be accepted for exchange or return and will be shipped back to the customer at their cost.

When exchanging a product do not place a new order through our web site because the returned item may then be charged a restocking fee. If you send the item back to us and note which item you would like in exchange, you will receive complimentary shipping for the exchange and will not be charged a restocking fee.

All returned items must be in their original condition. Designer Doggy cannot honor exchanges or returns for any merchandise that has been used, or is not in its original new condition. Credits will be processed in a timely manner.

Restocking Fees

Designer Doggy will allow one complimentary exchange per item. After the first exchange, the restocking fee will be 10% of the item's value. The credit will be applied to your original form of payment.
If you wish to receive store credit in the form of a gift certificate, no restocking fee will apply.

Return Exceptions

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged mainly due to health regulations:

  • Final Sale Items
  • Toys
  • Perishable/Food/Treats
  • Grooming
  • Seasonal (Halloween, Christmas, etc.)
  • Beds and Furniture
  • Carriers

Non-Deliverable, Refused or Unclaimed Orders

We will attempt contact you via telephone and/or email if an order is returned, refused or unclaimed. If no response is received, you will be charged the appropriate shipping charges and a 10% restocking fee.

Please make sure that the shipping information on your order is correct and that someone will be available to receive your package. Orders that require re-shipping at the request of the customer will be charged an additional re-shipping charge.
